International conference on polymer science and technology titled “Science and Technology of Polymers and Advanced Materials through Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Industry” (“SPSI-MACRO-2022”) will be held from November 2-4, 2022 to promote the recent fundamental understanding and technological advancement in the area of polymer science and technology. 

SPSI-MACRO is a series of international conferences held in India in every two years by The Society for Polymer Science, India (SPSI, http://www.spsi.co.in/). The 16th conference in this series (SPSI-MACRO-2022) will be jointly hosted by CSIR – National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR – NCL) and Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune. 

Coincidently, the year 2022 also happens to be the 75th birth year of a science leader, a fearless administrator and an institution builder, Dr. Sivaram. Therefore, the conference is rightly placed to celebrate the 75th birthday in a manner befitting the contribution of Dr. S. Sivaram. 

SPSI-MACRO-2022 will be held in the city of Pune on several thematic topics of polymer science and technology with name lectures, award lectures, invited talks, panel discussions, popular lectures, and poster presentations. The conference will host many distinguished academic personalities, industrial leaders and new entrepreneurs across the globe as speaker and participants. 

SPSI-MACRO-2022 will provide platform for many young researchers and students in India and abroad to learn the advancement in the field of polymer science and technology. Lectures are only by invitation and abstracts are solicited for poster presentations.
